Globalization and museums: both about compression of space and time

In the museum space, the idea of space and time is compressed (and, sometimes, frozen) when  museum objects across different time and space are put together. Harvey sees globalization as time-space compression, which I think refers more to a dynamic process. 

Harvey 主張全球化是一種時空壓縮的狀態。沒錯,全球化是一個充滿速度感、且變動的過程,這種快速壓縮了時空。我認為,博物館亦是關於時空壓縮,但是此處的時空壓縮,是指不同的時空壓縮下的展品、與展品呈現。
